This girl’s Under Armour sweatshirt was my first introduction to the amazing world of Under Armour.  I had no idea how much people loved the brand, every piece of clothing I have ever purchased has sold and for good prices.

TIP:  If you find anything Under Armour buy it, it will make you money every time.  However be careful with adult sweatshirts, the weight of the adult sweatshirts can weigh over one pound which means you cannot ship USPS first class, you have to ship either USPS parcel select or FedEx smartpost.  Due to the package weighing more the shipping fee will double if not triple depending on where it is going.  So make sure if you are purchasing an adult sweatshirt it is going to sell for over $20 so you don’t waste your time or money.

I bought this sweatshirt for $1.49 at our local Goodwill.  I listed it in a 7 day auction, the starting price was $9.99 plus $4.99 shipping, in 7 days it had 19 views, 2 bids, and it sold for a total of $15.48 including shipping.

$1.58 item cost including tax

$3.46 USPS first class shipping

$1.54 ebay fee

$.46 paypal fee

$.08 poly mailer (9 inch by 12 inch)

100 Non Bubble 9 by 12 Poly Mailers

The total cost of my item including all fees was $7.12, my item sold for $15.48, my profit was $8.36.  Our profit from this item will buy our juice boxes and snacks for a park play date with friends, so much fun!

  1. You wouldn’t have to ship the heavier 1 pound items via parcel select or FedEx. It could be shipped Priority mail by weight or I find that most things will fit in a priority mail padded flat rate envelope and ship for just over $6 🙂

Nice blog btw! I’m enjoying going through and reading about your flips!

    1. Great tip, I have been stuck on lets say a pair of jeans that weigh 1.2 ounces, the post office told me parcel select or smartpost were my next best options, I will check out the priority option especially if it will save a couple of dollars. Thanks
